| Yiwu locates the central area of Zhejiang province and the east edge of Jin-Qu Basin with total land area of 1,105 square kilometers and a population of 1.02 million. | On August 25th, due to visa and SARS affection, Organizing Committee of Yiwu Commodity Fair entrusted United States Pacific Rim Chamber to attend the Las Vegas International Fair lasted for 5 days, more than 2000 foreign businessmen consulted Yiwu Commodity Fair, the consultation scene was very hot. |
| From August 10 to 14, a large-scale International Fair which mainly involve in daily merchandise was held in Las Vegas, U.S.A., with 7500 stands, 4000 attending enterprises and more than 100 thousands merchants mainly from Middle and South America, North America, Europe and Australia. |
| 3 representatives from United States Pacific Rim Chamber, the intermediary organs of Organizing Committee of Yiwu Commodity Fair, attended the fair and propagandize Yiwu Commodity Fair while inviting business. As China chief representative of USPRC, Mr. Tang Yaotian said that during five days in that fair, they distributed over 2000 throwaways, received more than 2000 consultants, 60% of them were attending enterprises and other 40% were wholesalers and retailers mainly from America, include Canada, Middle and South America, Korea and so on. |
| During the recommendation activity, the consultants were in an endless stream, Yiwu market and Yiwu Commodity Fair were mostly concerned. Mr. Tang Yaotian recalled that in those five days, they were always so busy from 9:30 am till 6:30 pm, almost no time to rest, all the while there were about 10 consultants in front of the reception desk for inquiry. | After ¡°East China Obtaining Battle¡±, passenger and freight transport in Yiwu Station was divided and the passenger transport facility were greatly ameliorated, now the station owns advanced 6502 automatic obstruction equipment, realizes signal control automatizaion to guarantee train's safety, reduce labor intensity, adapt to high-density trains run, improve freight efficiency and satisfy development demand of Yiwu and periphery regions. |
| There are 6 station trucks, two platforms and 600m long awning in station. The daily trains reach 56, except northwest, there are through trains to northeast, north China, southwest, central China and southeast.
